The US alt-rock quartet White Siberian Tigers released their eponymous LP on the 12th.
Able to traverse between fleet-footed indie-dance to heavy-rock infused weaving guitar the approximately thirty five minutes – nine track album (available on bandcamp) contains plenty in which to wrap the ears.
The bass and percussion keep steadfast hold on the ebb and flow of the tracks always steering towards the end-line, allowing space for guitar to flex the strings giving the songs their overall sentiment while the dexterous vocal is able to paint the expressions.
My pick of the release is the fourth – The Game – which has a dark undertow and an undulating tempo which allows White Siberian Tigers to showcase the various elements of the band with none hogging the spotlight.
