Formed just over a year ago Tyrants have spent effort on live performance and successfully securing gigs across broad geographia in England.
It was with some fortune I was sent their début two track single and the A side Chinese Whispers is a perspicacious place to start their introduction.
The track ponders of mendacious gossip and ill-reported contemplative which results in communication break-down as they reflect of a world which is so busy creating their now ‘popular silo’ that inter-personal communication is merely judged on how third parties ‘vote’.
Tyrants is able to deliver a track in Chinese Whispers which through the frail vocal evokes of the malleability of perception whilst the solidity of the spine of the percussion and bass speak of sincerity, whilst guitar happily springs betwixt the two concepts.
