The Mod-rock outfit from England The Everglows have recently surfaced with a new track.

The Everglows - Lost & Found

The Everglows

With an ever burgeoning diary of live performances, it is good to have the chance to take a listen to their journey of sound for those of us who haven’t had the opportunity to see them live.

Lost & Found is the most melancholic track I have heard from the trio as they reflect on that languid Sunday afternoon in the sun after a plenitude of drinks at lunch-time. An acoustic sound wafts through the track which runs at just under three minutes. Their distinctive mod roots remain firmly entrenched in the piece, though this time weaved by more a reflective lyrical and compositional style reminding of The Kinks and ’60s Brit-pop rather than bullet power of The Who, which continues the more considered layering of sounds that surfaced in their last release, the psychedelic It’s All Right (For You & Me).
