The Chances, from England, who I last looked back in March have not been idle in the intervening few months.
I had concerns at the time of my initial review that The Chances may disappear into the vortex of bands in Brighton who never venture further than Worthing so I was delighted to receive an email a couple of days ago letting me know of a gig they had recently done in Paris. For the sharper eyed readers – the image above is taken not in Paris, but a gig at Concorde 2 in Brighton.
In addition they have a couple of new songs which have just come out – Heiroglyphics and Exist (which is the one featured) and whilst retaining the mood and tempo The Chances have a harder edge and more confident sound, I wish them every success for 2014.
