The English electro-rock project Tayne is finalising details for the LP Breathe, due for release later this year.
A couple of songs have surfaced from the album, the most recent – Alive – quite different to the other, more glazed-synth Sacrifice.
Alive is a track that stirs the speakers in to life as an opening credit of rock derived guitar bludgeons its way in to the room, to be joined initially by an angular glitch which transmutes in to a sloshing triphop synthesis prior to everything exploding in to its various individual constituent elements – creating an aural firework display with the, in juxtaposition to the song title and narrative, glumpy vocal forming a defining bridge between the disparate ingredients.
Alive – Single – Tayne is available on iTunes.*
