The Canadian reality-rock duo Twilight Fields released their début two track single on the 29th of February.
The sonorous gravity of the title track on the single Until The Day I Die takes ponderous footstep around the room as Twilight Fields asks the listener to take a stance against social isolation and factionalism as promulgated by the bureaucrats of socio-democracy who increasingly exist as nothing more than butlers to the 1% as they dish out division and rhetoric for their enjoyment of watching the 99% fighting amongst each other for platitudes of scraps of food. Much as the Emperors rejoiced in the Roman Colosseum with a ‘thumbs up’ or ‘thumbs down’ deciding on life and death to satiate their own pleasure whilst the populace brayed in support.
Twilight Fields is a duo on a mission and I look forward to keeping you up to date. To follow up Until The Day I Die (available on bandcamp) in May will be another two track single Will I See You Again? and in September the eleven track LP This Is Not The End.
