Youth Man have regularly featured since their introduction and those who are familiar with their music will associate raw power with their sound.
A live version of the last track of the five on the EP Wax (available through Venn Records) – Painted Blue, demonstrates Youth Man can also deliver music with more mellowed tone – though that does need to be put into the wider context of their own back-catalogue.
The English new-wave trio Youth Man release the EP Wax on the 1st of July.

In Fat Dead Elvis, the second of the five tracks on the EP which was recorded in live one takes and available via Venn Records, Youth Man deliver a different feel to material previously featured.
Gone are the skeletal punchy sounds to be replaced with a track that has a more frenetic panic stricken texture to it, reminding the listener of Siouxsie And The Banshees, as the bass and guitar counter each other and the percussion thunders through the speakers with the lyric scrawling bursts of rising pitch vocal twists that puncture the eardrums.
