With their usual acerbic take on human frailties in Pride, their latest single which is available on bandcamp, The Pretty Littles deliver a swipe at – as the title of the song suggests – self-aggrandisement.
Pride stumbles out of the speakers in quiet foot-step prior to the fuzz of guitar taking over the space and the track gradually develops into a flurry of hazy activity with the drum rolling through the room in juxtaposed distinct compact clarity with the vocal becoming ever more indistinct, as though an aural depiction of the irrelevance of the delusion of pride.
