The Spanish alt-rock quartet Hinds released the LP I Don’t Run on the 6th.
A quartet, who were first introduced back in 2014 when the name was Deers – who now spend most of their life on the road – between now and August they currently have thirty five gigs scheduled across Europe and North America supporting the release of the album of which Linda is the third of the eleven tracks.
The Spanish triphop duo from Spain, Voluptas Mors, released the LP Intelligence on the 13th.
In similar vein to their last LP Innocence, in Intelligence (available on bandcamp) switches around vocals, though with more of Laura singing than Ramon and with the compositions being of deeper resonance and complexity it provides the overall feel an album of sultry allure, with the audience finding themselves slinking their torso with the undulating beats.
Earlier in the month Los Labios released the LP Birthday.
By way of an introduction to a band who most certainly know one end of a song from the other and how to fill the space in-between with highly impressive rock and roll, resultingly are gaining a strong international following, the title track and fifth of the ten on the album.
The first of the six tracks on the album (available on bandcamp) – Hanging Out With Imogen – can’t help but bring some lightness to the day as the retro combinations of synth and guitar generate a warming ambience to the room.
