Sculpture – Zyprazol – Video

First featured in 2012 – the English experimental electronics project Sculpture releases the two track single Zyprazol on the 6th of May.

Sculpture - Zyprazol - Animated Picture Disc

Sculpture – Zyprazol – Animated Picture Disc – b-side

Sculpture, ever reaching for new ideas, is making the release available as an animated picture disc – and a joy it is to behold. For some reason I am minded to suggest – don’t do a John Peel – ‘right time, wrong speed’.

Continuing with the stark societal commentary of the track featured in May 2014Zyprazol (available on bandcamp) additionally gets back to the roots of the creative genius of sounds and – on this occasion visual artistry – which first drew my attention.

Sculpture – The Department, Episode 2 – Audio

It was back in 2012 that Sculpture from England appeared initially.

Sculpture

The horrific track The Department, Episode 2 (there is no Episode 1) exemplifies why I have time for musicians who bring to the forefront issues of anxiety and kudos to Sculpture to bringing to musical reality that which is normally kept for salivation in the main-stream media.
