The US alt-rock quartet Queue were introduced earlier this year.
The latest song to be released – Aimless Kid – (available on bandcamp) finds Queue in more thoughtful and introspective mood, which contemplates of the long lingering effects of others coercion.
Aimless Kid fills the room with a sad flow of fragile vocal, slowly rotating guitar, a subsumed bass and a muffled drum which seeps in to the bone-marrow and leaves the listener in thoughtful reflection long after the room has decended in to silence.

Queue is a US indie-rock quartet.
Sometimes when you listen to a band you wonder why the whole world doesn’t know about them already and Queue is one of those contemplative moments in time.
Everything that is needed in music is encapsulated within the just over three minutes of Frontier which was released on the 26th (available on bandcamp). A blistering tempo is kick-started by razor-sharp percussion as a thumping bass pulses through the ears surrounded by the two guitars which swap places and spacing giving the song a completely unexpected spacious gazey-echo through which a sublime emotive vocal softly drifts and the whole song is delivered with remarkable precision.
