Based in Stockholm (Sweden) – the soft-rock creator Elias Mahfoud, who performs as Chez Ali – will be releasing the EP Buenas Noches Club on the 9th of November.
The first track to be revealed of the four on the EP (available on bandcamp), the second song – Adore You – which drifts through the room as though floating on balsa wood has a lightness of texture that belies the intricacy of the underlying composition that melds very busy guitar with harmonised synth, affording the music its soft brush focus, whilst the rumba percussion rhythm finds the listener sashaying through the room to the accompaniment of a smoochy groove of vocal.

The Danish, Sweden based, trippy-rock project Black Light White Light released the LP Horizons on the 23rd.
Black Light White Light
The first of the eleven tracks on the album, King Kong, slowly fills the room with a hazy-pall of psychedelic washes of colour as the fuzzy guitar leads the way for the synth to gradually unfurl while the gauzed vocal sweeps in and out of focus.

It has been a couple of years since the Sweden based RnB musician Victoria Moralez last featured.
The latest track to surface – This Game – discovers Victoria in a very different frame of mind which is a triphop influenced composition.
The slowly paced electronic loops and heavy bass are, in my view, a superlative backdrop to the distinctive jazzy tinctured vocal in which both elements coexist in a natural equilibrium and an avenue of exploration I look forward to hearing more songs.
