Dark Voice Of Angelique – They – Audio

The Russian drone project Dark Voice Of Angelique released the LP Noire on the 14th.

Noire (available on bandcamp) whilst still of dark cloud, is of less dystopian menace than music previously featured.

The nine tracks are less compacted and resultingly afford for the listener to more readily explore the melodies and nuances of the roughly fifty six minutes album as the multifarious layering of electronica, synthesised instruments and vocal flows through the room.

The fourth composition and my pick of the release is the just over six minutes – They.

Dark Voice Of Angelique – Contra – Audio

The Russian dystopian-drone project Dark Voice Of Angelique was introduced earlier in the year.

Most recently released was the eleven track LP Null And Void (available on bandcamp) and is of equally harrowing soundscape.

The combinations of voice, percussive animate and inanimate objects robed in oppressive electronica cloak the room in a menacing darkness.

The fourth song is the less than three minutes of Contra.

Dark Voice Of Angelique – New Order – Audio

The dystopian-drone project Dark Voice Of Angelique from Russia released the three track single Evol Love earlier in the month.

Those of longer stay will spot by the word ‘single’ it doesn’t necessarily mean all over in a blink of an eye and when combined with ‘drone’ probably means an extended duration and you would be correct in thought – the three tracks on Evol Love (available on bandcamp) last for about twenty eight minutes between themselves.

Each a dark orchestration in their own existence, yet through the building of the release, the individual songs become more introspectively self-imploding and of longer gradation, necessarily making the closer New Order – the post-apocalyptic age and almost thirteen minute closer – my selection of the single as it encapsulates the precarious relationship of the 1% and the 99% which will inevitably implode upon themselves for the very fractious nature of their dichotomous existence.
