Their most recent LP Archetypes (available on bandcamp) is an engrossing journey of ten tracks lasting for an approximately forty two minutes journey to which the audience is enticed to partake with its earthy ritualism in an album which is best heard around a burning pyre casting shadowy light around the grouping.
From Archetypes the third – The Lunatic which introduces two additional voices and a bouzouki.
The Greek dark-rock band Cyanna Mercury expect to release the LP Archetypes in November.
Cyanna Mercury – There Will Be A Time
There Will Be A Time – the third track to be featured from the album finds Cyanna Mercury once again in a different mood in a composition that slowly uncurls as it floats around the room.
The vocal is given greater foreground than is usually the case whilst synth also features prominently with other instrumentation and percussion taking supporting roles in a song that could easily be transposed to feature as a soundtrack to a Sergio Leone film.
The Greek alt-rock band Cyanna Mercury are set to release the LP Archetypes imminently.

From the album a different sound to previous music featured. Cyanna Mercury introduce a blues rock style to their style in Snake. Which comes as an interesting newly exposed side to the band who normally deliver dark introspective rock.
From the forthcoming album If We Were Blind is a more expansive track than those previously featured as Cyanna Mercury shift emphasis from booming dank bass notes with half-spoken vocals to an expressive vocal and synth giving the just under five and three quarter minute number less of an oppressive feeling.
A forceful drum beat lays through If We Were Blind, retaining their sense of malevolence and the unhurried pace affords Cyanna Mercury the ability to generate a feeling of helplessness against relentless forces unknown.
Released a few hours ago was his latest single Walk The Stars. Beat Remvie uses different vocalists on tracks, depending on temper and it is not surprising Spyreas Sid, the vocalist of the dark-rock band Cyanna Mercury was asked to provide the voice in this moody number.
Beat Remvie delivers a melancholic track that finds the listener captivated by the pervasive sadness that cloaks the room in introspective loneliness. The synths burble like an active mud-pool with occasional half formed bubbles of light escaping the gloopy emulsion as the distinctive vocal captures the lamenting sentiment of Walk The Stars, which is available on bandcamp.
