The English alt-rock quartet Courtesans are finalising details for a new LP.

The first track to be revealed from the new album has been made available as an unplugged version – Walking On Waves.

Often acoustic versions of tracks, particularly by rock bands, enable the musicians to expose the fuller range of their emotional connectivity with their music and the creative process, along with the strength of the songwriting and interweaving-musicianship which is often obscured in the final plugged in versions.

Knowhere, the first of the five tracks is a fine example of their signature sound of flattened notes and imploding whirls of grungy rock which feeds the listener with a sense of oppressive menace.
