Cave Wars – O r i g a m i – Audio

The English new-romanticists Cave Wars revealed their eponymous LP within the past four hours.

Cave Wars

Cave Wars

Tone down the lights, find a warm thick blanket and a partner to nestle with and the approximately thirty five minute album will satiate some of the foreplay, put it on repeated loop and then there is time to bring out the candles to drip wax over intertwined torsos.

Threading through urgent passion to tempered soft caresses Cave Wars are able to deliver a synth driven release that massages oil in to the lower abdomen in an embrace of simultaneously unfettered desire and equally restrained considered supplication.

My pick of the release is the third number on the album (available on bandcamp) O r i g a m i with its undulating tonality.
