The Belgium based alt-folk quintet In Lakesh are planning to release the LP Coma on the 15th of March.
My thanks to Sarah Gommers for writing this article, as she does weekly in respect of predominately Benelux musicians. It is only being published in my name as for reasons as yet unfathomed Sarah was unable to log-in to her own account on the site to set up the article.
A mixture of French and Belgian multi-instrumentalists Fabien Noël (Lead Vocals / Guitar / Keyboard), Bertrand Baijot (Guitar / Bass / keyboard / Backing vocals), Sébastien Bernon (Guitar / Bass / Backing Vocals), Bruno Baudewyns (Guitar / Bass / Keyboards / Backing Vocals) and Antoine Valvin (Drums / Backing vocals) got together in Brussels (Belgium) in 2014 which is where they retain their home base.
In Lakesh set themselves the aim of releasing three LPs reflecting on various stages of life – Albatros, released in 2014 was about childhood, Croma – the second, will be about adulthood.
Keeping the new tracks tightly under wraps, Sarah wanted to place an alert about the band, although the song being featured is from the LP Albatros (available on bandcamp).
