Vox Sambou, Nantali Indongo, Lou Piensa, Waahli, Ali Sepu, Meryem, Butta Beats and Rawgged based in Montréal (Canada) who form the world-hop band Nomadic Massive released the EP MIWA on the 23rd.
Nomadic Massive merely ask of the audience to stretch the limbs, cast aside points of difference with others and sway to the beats.
Originating from Chile, Haiti, Canada, Brazil, France, Jamaica, Algieria and Brazil their disparate influences are reflected in their multilingual output which immediately lifts the listener on to the dance floor to join with the relaxed party mood of the hip-hop derived compositions.
The five tracks on MIWA (available on bandcamp) are each of very different source derivative – the penultimate song is Move In Silence.

The Canada based alt-rock trio Psychocide are working on a new EP.
A mixed bag of back catalogue means that they are as yet undecided of the full set of tracks for the forthcoming EP – resultingly the latest track to surface, Confined, which was revealed less than twenty four hours ago – may or may not make the cut.
Confined is a progressive-rock influenced song which is pierced by bubbles of indie-dance, making for an approaching four minutes thread of variegated texturing.

The Canada based – Tasmania originating – melancholic-rock trio Heart Beach are set to release the LP Haircut on the 1st of November.
A ten track album of drifting sadness which rather than leaving the listener feeling morose leaves them having undergone a catharsis as Heart Beach deliver music that has an intrinsic beauty which flows deep through the bone-marrow warming up the body from inside.
In advance of the release of the album a couple of tracks of surfaced (available on bandcamp) and by way of an introduction to a band I look forward to featuring again in short order the second song on the LP – Perfect.
Heart Beach are about to start a tour of Australia with the culminating gig being in Tasmania. If you are anywhere near the shows, I would suggest taking an evening out in their company would not be something you would regret.
