The US alt-metal sextet A Scent Like Wolves release Alternate Lives as a four track EP in Japan on the 16th of December and a three track single to the rest of the world on the 18th.

In either version of the release Caught In is the opening track.

Hurtling out of the speakers in a flurry of activity, A Scent Like Wolves are able to utilise the numerous players to deliver a track that has time to find both melody and drill-bit impact over the just over four and a half-minutes of varied tempo, which finds the listener kept on guard as to where the music will next head.
