Sløtface – Empire Records – Single Review

The Norwegian sardonic-rock quartet Sløtface revealed their latest track Empire Records a few hours ago.

The sarcastic vocalisation of ‘approved betterment’ can’t help but raise a smile as the slippery guitars coil themselves from top-most corners of the room prior to striking venomous bites as bass and percussion chuckle at the ensuing chaos and before you know it – the audience is in equal barb and love-in as the music spins through the ears.

Sløtface are able in Empire Records to deliver a soundtrack of sarcasm which has the listener glancing over their shoulder mouthing – you were joking weren’t you?
