The US darkwave duo Seaside Holiday released the LP Grand Tours on the 28th.

Seaside Holiday is an outfit I intend to come back to with a full review in due course, for now a brief introduction.
The second track of the eleven on the approximately fifty minutes running-time of Grand Tours (available on bandcamp) and my pick of the release – gives a decent indicator of their sound. Wartime Recollections is housed in an enclosing wrapping of mossy synth while flickering candles of percussion pace around the room to the accompaniment of the expansive ethereal vocal that is a hallmark of their sound.
