The English roots-reggae outfit Royal Sounds released their début LP Burning Inspiration on the 27th of October.
It is when information of the likes of the roughly fifty six minutes bakers dozen album plus an almost ten minutes remix fourteenth track (available on bandcamp) surfaces that life as a music journalist fully evidences the absolute joy of doing what I do and why I keep on doing it – already I have the first long-list identification for the Editors’ choice for band of the month for November and it is only the 2nd.
Set aside plenty of time and space to dance and fully engage with the LP – my pick of which is the fifth track No Amnesia.
Royal Sounds are out on tour later this month and in to December around Wales and England – and if within reach something with which to engage.
