The Greek alt-rock project of Prins Obi released the LP The Age Of Tourlou yesterday.
A fourteen track album (available on bandcamp) that casts an acerbic eye on the world around.
The opening song is Anatolian Rock. For those of geographical and geo-political interest which, if you are a regular reader, will be well aware – I am a keen follower. Anatolia is a region of disparate melting pots of different thoughts and by title alone a decent reflective of the sentiments of The Age Of Tourlou. As an aside I did at one point in time have an Anatolian Shepherd Dog named Galen as company as I travelled in Western Asia during the latter end of the last Century – but enough of all that – the song and why you should get to know the LP.
