The US alt-rock quintet Midwest Death Rattle release the LP Post-Apocalypso on the 21st.
From the forthcoming twelve track album Tacoma Narrows was released a few hours ago.
The bruising bass and percussion gives Tacoma Narrows a fluorescence which lights up the speakers, while stippling keys fade in and out of earshot, to which guitar melts into the mind as the vocal creates undulating textures. Suddenly out of nowhere an orchestration of marching trumpets surface which, all in all, gives the track an intriguing just over five minutes of concepts that Midwest Death Rattle tie together with some skill to create a song that finds the listener hitting replay immediately to explore the various elements once again.
