The English alt-rock sextet Lola Colt release the LP Twist Through The Fire on the 1st of July.
With a track that takes them away from the more psychedelic tinges of music by Lola Colt previously featured, Gold, the first to appear from the album, is a grumbling-blues-rock number, which retains their distinctive low pitched rumble and superlative vocal.
The scuffed guitar sweeps through the room as the electronic hum flows in dark harmony, with bass filtering to give the moody presence whilst percussion unrelentingly sears into the mind.
To support the release of Twist Through The Fire – Lola Colt will be playing a series of shows around England in July.
5th – Brighton – The Hope & Ruin
6th – London – Moth Club
7th – Bristol – The Exchange
8th – Nottingham – The Chameleon
13th – Leeds – A Nation Of Shopkeepers
14th – Manchester – Soup Kitchen
15th – Birmingham – Sunflower Lounge
Twist Through The Fire is available directly from Lola Colt.
