Indigo Bones is a delta-blues quartet from England.
Formed in the latter part of 2014 they have begun to carve out a slice of space for themselves with their dusky compositions. Only two tracks are available to those of us who haven’t been to see them live, each quite different.
The most recent, which also surfaced as a video this year – Sacred Sister finds Indigo Bones scouring the Mississippi Delta and finding the sphagnum moss to deliver a gritty track in which they filter the gravel from the oysters leaving the audience with a pearl of song as they combine heavy-rock with crunchy-blues in just under three minutes of guitar schooling.
