This is yet another article I have managed to reach very late having been alerted to the release of the LP Empty Orchestra, which came out the week before last on bandcamp, last month, therefore once again my apologies to everyone.
A ten track album of sorrowful melodies which drift through the room in captivating washes of intricate fretwork in contrasting paced threads which seem to slide like slate slabs as the guitar takes a measure of different timing to percussion and bass affording the songs a feeling of constant motion and the slowing of time.
My pick of the release is the third – Nothing Left To Lose.
