Fuzzqueen – The Killin’ – Audio

The US graze-rock outfit Fuzzqueen released their début EP Xenia I on the 4th.

Apologies for the delay in getting back to this as it has been hanging around in my inbox for more than five minutes.

Combining americana, southern-blues and classic rock Fuzzqueen dip the resulting compositions in a blending device whilst pipetting a soupçon of psychedelia to the mix returning to the audience an exquisite canvas of textured artwork to adorn the room in washes of colour.

Lasting for roughly twenty minutes the four tracks of Xenia I (available on bandcamp) take the listener on a mind engrossing journey in which to loose all sense of time and perspective. My pick of the release is the shortest and the opener – The Killin’.
