The English alt-rock trio DaDa release the LP The Pigeon Conspiracy tomorrow.
With blends of psychedelia and anxious garage-rock the DaDa somehow remind me of a Rook watching from a garden fence to protect food it doesn’t want to consume at that moment in time, but may do later, resulting in them spreading their wings in show of force when another bird arrives on the lawn to partake of the offerings, cloaking the scene with a confident predatory presence.
From the six track album – S.T.A.S. – the third features a bass with such slack strings that you can envisage them dropping below the fret board and regular readers will know I do enjoy bass guitar with such imagery and it is little surprise I would ask you to spend time with DaDa.
