The Manx alt-rock duo Circus WorlD are due to imminently release the EP The Deceiver.
The first track to appear from the release being the fuzzy-rock number High that fizzes with the static-electricity of the guitar set against a menacing voice which give the song a dark oppressive air in to which the listener eagerly accepts invitation to enter the dimly lit doorway and head down the narrow steep staircase to discover what other delights lay in store in the rest of The Deceiver.
The Manx downtempo project Nanaki is planning a couple of LPs for this year.

The first album to be released will be Epilogue and the first track to surface from the LP is Farewell.
Farewell has a sadness to it which is in sync with the track title as the wistful melodies float through the room wrapping the listener in a gentle embrace, which finds the audience reaching out with fingers stretched to hold the composition for longer as it leaves the room.
Introduced last year – the Isle of Man reggae-hop duo Han-FX with Jor-DMC return with a song that surfaced within the past few hours.
Han-FX with Jor-DMC and Skilldog
Adding a third artist Skilldog, also from Manx – for such a small island, those who have followed the site with any regularity will, like me, be pondering – other than musicians and TT bike riders, who else lives on the Isle Of Man?
Hip Hop News resonates of the Ska beat and acerbic rapping which discovers that the duo will be appearing at One Love Fest later this year. There is an easy and honest openness to Hip Hop News that minds of Ian Dury And The Blockheads with the concertina resting on the wrestle between the lyric and the outliers of musical construct, which due completely to the conflict, gives the resulting output its organic pulse, which even through speakers nestles in the heart and is an extremely difficult construct to deliver successfully.
By the fact that is not their first appearance, alerts that they are more than capable of meeting the challenge they set themselves.
Circus worlD, an alt-rock duo from the Isle Of Man, released the EP – The Burning Well E.P. this month.

Having lain dormant for over a decade Mark Sayle and Mikie Daugherty (who you may well recall is in Postcode got together with an idea for a song. Finding they were enjoying the process one song became more songs resulting in the release of The Burning Well E.P. . A release that is available on bandcamp as either a five track digital EP or as a ten track CD LP.
In either version – the opening track is Black Swan.
