The first track to surface from the album, Pawnshop, which is the follow-up to their 2016 eponymous début LP finds Daphne And The Fuzz with the familiarity of retrospective influences, though this time around steeped in the vitals of ’70s disco-soul.
The first track to surface from the album, Παπαρούνα (Poppy), was itself released as a standalone single at the tail end of last month.
The swirling thermals of electronica, theremin and vocals of Παπαρούνα drift through the room as though an albatross gliding effortlessly far out over the ocean transporting the listener, too, into a higher stratosphere and away from the hubbub of the day.
