The deep-techno track Wordless by the French producer Jérémie Naulet will be on the compilation EP – Initializing Volume 19 – being released on the 13th.
The closing track of the five is a six and five sixths minutes long composition of meandering melodic ambience which reaches far in to the mind, as it gently massages away awareness of the world around, leaving the listener stretched out in a semi-comatose trance.

The French atmospheric-rock outfit Lunar Landscape release the LP The Infinite Pleasure of Being on the 12th of September.
The seven songs offer an expansive journey in modulated frequencies taking the listener through moments of modern-classics, ambient cinematography, gazey-rock and more, though rather than leaving the listener pitching like a dinghy in heavy seas, the quiet undertow of the compositions allows each slice of the album to take its moment in centre spotlight without jostling the preceding track by its presence.
An LP which can be taken in one sitting or equally as relevant when approached in isolated moments. Sirens’ Calling, the third track, was itself released as a stand alone single on the 24th and is available on bandcamp.

An ambient, almost seven and a quarter minutes, flickering flow of molten electronica that, like warm candle wax, runs softly through the room moulding around all in earshot.

It is a couple of years since the French angst-rock band Theory Of Youth were introduced.

Their most recent LP Noise To My Mother, which was released last week and is available on bandcamp, is a gnarly approximately three quarters of an hour, eleven track, collection of murky rock.
Songs surface in a disparity of languages and tempos, making for – what to me – is a most excellent way to spend the time. My pick of the release being the 5th song Oscura.

It has been almost exactly a year since the French haze-rock duo Hopeless Kids last featured making their latest track to be revealed most opportune in timing.
California is a delicate filigree of interwoven parts that build in to a substantial moment in which the listener finds themselves wrapped in shimmering filaments of instrumentation and voice that entrances the mind.
