The US rattling-folk quartet Broken Barrels release the EP A little Off The Top on the 11th of November.
Within the past twenty hours the title track and opener has been made available.
The five track release takes the listener on a donkey ride across the plains in a delightful combination of acoustic banjo and guitar, trotting percussion and jaunty vocal that finds the listener happily tapping along with the beat, yet belying the surface skittishness lays a context of approbation of societal self-serving avarice.
Having had the opportunity to thread my way through the just over a quarter of an hour release I can attest this is an EP to grab hold of on availability.
