The Spanish synth-wave creator Albert Bevia will be releasing the LP You. on the 15th of October.
Just a week ago Albert Bevia decided to cut some tracks from the intended release resulting in seven songs making the new cut for the shortened LP, my pick of the release is the fifth – Don’t Ever Rest.
Drawing from roots in the early ’80s new-romanticism it is easy to imagine Don’t Ever Rest having being released as a 12″ single on Factory Records as the expressive warm vocal and danceable beat are surrounded by deeply resonating reverb which seems to be coming from the cellar.
Having had the opportunity to take a listen to the full album I am able to suggest You. will be an LP well worth adding to the collection when it is officially released.
