A song reflective of a world shrouded by abuse which is oft cleft in mantles of the undisclosed by those who for what ever reason are able to manage, or struggle, to cope with their own circumstance – whilst reaching out an arm to express there is a better world around if they are able to just extend their own fingers to clasp the extended wrist – held by a chain across the globe in supporting anchor and not one of approbation.
The steadfast perspective being held by a solid instrumentation while the dour and fragile vocal laments of the reality suffered by far too many which is able to wrest tears from the eyes of the audience.
The French sultrywave duo Les Manteez released the LP Season Five on the 25th of May.
Another one of those musical acts best heard whilst nestled with another as the alluring songs trickle through the ears.
Venus, the opening track of the six on the album portrays less of the planet and more of the Roman Goddess of love, beauty and desire in its journey as it opens an LP of passionate moment feeding to a nerve trembling and full body orgasm to savour long after the 23 minutes of the foreplay of Season 5 has faded from the mind.
The US acoustic-rock creator Charlotte Morris revealed the EP To New York, With Love less than a couple of hours ago.
Taking a scathing perspective to the world around, despite the EP title – Charlotte is unafraid to note the bad points of life, whilst choosing to focus more on the better things of a rotting apple and the listener is also led to believe that despite the bad – there is a good heart still beating which needs greater spotlight.
Inevitably, have said all about the positive messages of the five tracks the one that I find most pleasure as the highlight of the release is the second song which is of more consternation – Call Me Baby.
The US rock’n’roll duo, When Particles Collide, release the LP Fade To Gold on the 21st of September.
When Particles Collide
The first track to surface from the album – Lay My Body Down For You, which was itself released as a stand alone single on the 25th of May, is a storming introduction with its soaring riffs, tight connectivity and absorbing vocals.
The only surprise is that they find time to get to ever get to a studio – for the next few months they are continually on the road – predominately in the USA with two brief cross border trips interjecting which consist of one show in England and four in Canada towards the tail end of August.

Their relentless and broad geographic live performance schedule leads me to opine that no matter where you are in the world – at some point they will inevitably be appearing to perform on stage within your own striking distance.
