Once again thanks to all the music creators for doing what you do. The October long list started off with forty five possibilities for the Editors’ Choice for Band Of The Month.
Whittled down to one – from The USA – Miss America – with a track that sums up so much so well.
As rarely occurs for ‘band of the month’ selected on one specific track, rather than a collection of songs – one released within hours of the reveal of the delight in sexual assault and the egocentric misogyny by a contender for President Of The United States Of America, which by extension relays much of the ‘I am all and you are nothing’ which prevails across much of the world in 2016.
The US new-wave trio Fat Heaven release the LP Tough Luck on the 25th of November.

Always a pleasure to return to – on the fourth of the dozen tracks on the LP Tough Luck (available on bandcamp) – In My Head – Fat Heaven, while retaining the battering ram of percussion and instrumentation have softened the vocal giving the piece a more garagey feel than much of their previous music.
The US indie-stress creator Fred Thomas releases the LP Changer on the 27th of January 2017.
