The Paper Shades is an English alt-rock duo from England.

The Paper Shades combine acoustic and electronic guitar with touches of keyboards in the track Home, leaving the listener sensing they are exploring a long abandoned ruin as the sounds mind of discovery and simultaneously a ghostly presence in a number which contains elements of folk and atmospheric melodic rock.
It was early last year that the US synth-wave project Rexxy was introduced.

The latest single, Midnight, which was released last month, finds Rexxy in a more expansive mood than previous material, with hints of shoegaze and more strongly featured melodies. Giving the track greater variety of texture and I hope this signifies a direction of travel for future compositions.
The English ethereal electronics creator Moon Zero was introduced last year.

Building on the formations of the two previous EPs Loss and Tomb, the newest eponymous release – an LP – came out last month continues to provide the listener with organically developing blends of sounds and techniques, wrapped inside a mournful, dystopian soundtrack in which the mind becomes entranced.
