The Canadian solo synth-folk project Minurva released the EP Heart at the end of last month.
An hypnotic and spellbinding thread of four tracks running for only roughly a dozen minutes, yet, the listener leaves Heart with the sense that time has been suspended. There is a natural yet almost ethereal flow to the music as synthetics and instrumentation thread between each other as voice peers from behind thick voile.
The opener – Hurricane gives a keen sense of the concept of the EP (available on bandcamp)
